Basisexamen Inburgering / Civic Integration examination
For your MVV Application, you will be needing to pass the Civic Integration Examination or Basisexamen Inburgering as one of the requirement. The exam should be taken in the Netherlands Embassy or Consulate in the Philippines.
The exam is taken in Dutch. This will test your Dutch language and Dutch society is tested.
Who is required to take the Basisexamen Inburgering?
Between Aged 16 and 65 who wishes to live in the Netherlands and needs to apply for an temporary staying permit (MVV).
This applies to foreigners who wish to come in the Netherlands to be with there family or partners who live in the Netherlands.
How to register for the Basisexamen Inburgering or Civil Integration exam?

Fill-out the registration form online. After the form has been sent you will receive a unique payment identification number in your email. Make sure that you entered your correct and valid email address to be able for you to receive the confirmation email. You should keep and print the email for reference purposes.
When you received the unique payment identification number you can already pay your examination cost.
The examination cost is €350 which you have to pay to dedicated account number. Call the embassy to know that your payment has been received. Once payment has been received, make an appointment to the Embassy or Consulate for you exam schedule. The exam also takes place in the Netherlands Embassy. Be sure to be there 30 minutes before your exam starts.
